Virtual Training Workshop “Green Hydrogen Methods of Production, Transport, Storage, and Utilization”
Majan Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, in cooperation with the Sustainable Energy Research Center, the College of Engineering at Sultan Qaboos University, and the Arab Academy for Renewable Energy platform – ARBRENA, organized a free virtual training workshop entitled “Green Hydrogen Methods of Production, Transport, Storage, and Utilization” which was a unique opportunity for all those interested in hydrogen. Green and its projects in the Sultanate of Oman and abroad to gain many knowledge and skills in the field of green hydrogen.
The training workshop aimed to raise the level of knowledge and awareness of hydrogen technologies and methods of producing, storing, transporting and using it by addressing the basic concepts to understand the importance of green hydrogen projects in the Sultanate of Oman in a simplified and uncomplicated manner.
The two-day training workshop was held on October 24-25, with two training sessions, from 6:30-9:30 Muscat time via Zoom, and the number of those interested in attending reached approximately 900 participants.

The training workshop included a number of topics, the most important of which are: an introduction to hydrogen fuel, its future and its role in energy transformation, hydrogen production techniques, the use of renewable energy to produce green hydrogen, hydrogen applications, hydrogen storage techniques, hydrogen transport techniques, applications of fuel cells and electric cars, projects Green hydrogen in the Sultanate of Oman.

The content of the training workshop was prepared to serve as a basic base and a main introduction for anyone interested in the field of green hydrogen and its various technologies.
